Founded in 1997, Polk Family Caregivers exist to be a public voice for family caregivers illuminating the daily challenges they face, offering them the assistance they so desperately need and deserve, and championing their cause.

Polk Family Caregivers is a member of the National Family Caregiver Alliance and the American Information and Referral System. Funding is furnished by state and county government grants, private philanthropies, the annual dues collected from collaborating partners, fundraising, sponsors and donations from many generous individuals.
